Spring is in the air
I can't wait for spring to get here. I can't help but feel like things are about to bust wide open. I have several clients that have already booked a session for April or May and two requests for weddings. I am nervous about weddings... I have never done one, and I know that my beginner equipment can only get me so far. As long as everyone knows where we are at, I am up for the challenge! Yippeee, bring on the sunny weather!

I recently read (and I'm sure that in all but the most extreme cases it's true), that it's the photographer, not the equipment, that makes a great picture. So if you're confident in your own ability to capture the image, it doesn't matter if you're using a top of the line dSLR, or a simple point and shoot; if you have the skill, you'll get the shot.
