New Brochure

I am sooo excited! I have been working on some advertising ideas and thought this would be fun to try. I am in the habit of handing out my card and telling people to check the website. Usually this is followed with several questions about what I offer and prices. I thought it might be easier on myself and the client if I could just give 'em a list of the usual answers. This way they could keep it and have a visual to refer back to - since visual is what this is all about! I am enjoying the photoshop practice and love indulging my creative side... so naturally I created one from scratch. I just sent the order in last night... can't wait to see them when they get here!

Guess what time it is???

If you've been keeping track, it's time for another Blakely shoot!
Yes folks, little miss Blakely is now 7 months old. I realized on my way to Shelly's house that her 12 month shoot is just around the corner... my brain is going into overtime. I feel like I need to end this amazing progression with a bang. Of course it all depends on the star - she calls the shots ;p

Okay, so onto the pics... tell me this Georgia peach doesn't have "Gerber" written all over her!

Siler Summer

How stinkin' cute. I get gitty when Amanda calls me to take pictures of her two little angels. My little man Dawson just loves his playdates with the Siler girls... can you blame him? Take a look...

Technicalities

I've been between sessions for a little while and have been brushing up on all the technicals. I feel like such a geek some nights. I could sit for hours and watch videos about photography. I just looooove learning about light and people and how to capture a priceless moment forever.

I've also been trying to tweak all my media and smooth it over to look more professional as I inch my way into a serious business format. The true purpose of this posting is to put my logo into my email signature...

Carson cutie

When planning to do an outside shoot, you just never know what mother nature will do. Carson is now 12 months old and April showers made his mommy and I have to reschedule...

But it was worth it! He was just a great baby... all smiles and looking right at me. If you've ever seen the F.E.P. business card, you'll see this little cutie when he was brand spankin' new... love those little cheeks!

Okay, as promised, here is part two of Blakely's 6 month photo shoot. I was soo happy with the results! I especially felt redeemed after being a complete tool, and leaving my camera bag at work and traveling back at the last minute before we lost our sunlight!
